Some yummy stuff that's in season
Asparagus (like olive oil and some pepper - or your spice perference - and barbecue them suckers up!)

Morel mushrooms (pick them, sautee them, dehydrate them, freeze them, put them in soups, they're amazing!)

Strawberries (around the latter part of June these suckers are so juicy they need - literally - ZERO accompaniment)

Wine for extra credit: Trio Vintners 'Tres Rose' - Best Rose wine I've had and at an unbeatable price!!! Get it while it's still available!

Asparagus, bunched into groups of three, wrapped in prosciutto, topped with lemon rind and Parmesan cheese, baked.

Spinach salad with caramelized scallions, quartered strawberries, walnuts, and a light vinaigrette
