I just did up a site for a small business and would like to get some feedback from the collective....

http://norwestwines.com

Please let me know what you think about usability, graphics, language, flow, fun factor, etc...

Cheers,
Larry the wino (WBTS)

Hi! The green dots next to the words on the left look a little too close to the words... sort of distracting.
Maybe move it so its next to it (like when you click the link), and have some other way to denote what page your on, like bolding, etc...
First page is wordy, but content is ok.
If you Twitter, you should add a link to your twitter page on the 'contact us' section.
Double check for spelling/word mistakes... for example the page "what is an agent" has the word "youhave" not "you have"
The green at the bottom is not the most appealing green.
Hope this helps you with some feedback! :)

Hey Shannon - thanks so much for taking the time to look at this. I really appreciate your feedback. So I fixed the menu graphics spacing and pared the first page down to what norwestwines is all about with a "read more" link at the end of the first paragraph....

I think I got to all the typos too

If you could look it over again and see if this is better I would love it!
Thanks again
Larry

Hi Larry,

Its a pretty good Joomla site, are you around here in Walla Walla? I am curious about what you are doing, it sounds cool but I have some questions, if you have some time.

Hey Lloyd -

Nope - I live over the hills in the Seattle area but I used to get over to W2 all the time... please feel free to contact me with any question - (206) 595-8605

I think, though the top of the page is very pretty, it is too flashy and takes up too much space. Its hard to take your eyes off of it. In addition, it would be nice to see something visual representing several wineries on the landing page. logos, pictures, etc.
The other thought I have right off the bat, and I don't know how much wiggle room you have with joomla, but the links on the left had sidebar - it would nice if the winery links were in a separate location, either a wine/winery tab with links to individual wineries there, or something. Its hard to describe in text, but it seems as though there should be a visual or physical separation between the various wineries, and "about norwestwines, find our wines, contact us, etc."
And last but not least, I'm not a huge fan of mousing over the wine being the only way to get info about wines, maybe allow for them to have tabs, and open up with more info....don't know, its just my 2c.
